EMS Chief:

The Village of Bluffton is looking to hire an EMS Chief to lead all aspects of the EMS operations and oversee the transition from a volunteer department to a full-time department. The successful candidate will be paramedic certified, have a minimum of 5 years of proven EMS experience, including 3 years of administrative or operational management experience, and possess first response and incident command experience. Volunteer EMT:

The Village of Bluffton is seeking dedicated individuals who live within five (5) minutes of The Bluffton EMS building (115 E.Washington), who would be interested in becoming Volunteer EMT’s. If you are interested in obtaining an EMT basic certification The Bluffton EMS would possibly sponsor you for this training.  This commitment would require 140 hours of training for EMT, as well as attending monthly training meetings and keeping up with State CEU requirements. Successful applicants must be a High School graduate, or G.E.D., Not less than 18 years of age, possession of a valid state driver’s license; possess State of Ohio Emergency Medical Technician Basic certification. Volunteers will be compensated $16.00/hour.
