The Village of Bluffton offers numerous recreational activities and venues for residents:
The Village Park offers soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, hike/bike paths, playground equipment, restroom facilities and shelter houses available for reservations by calling the village offices at 419-358-2066.
The Buckeye Park has hike/bike paths, basketball courts, shuffleboard courts, playground equipment, restroom facilities and shelter houses available for reservations by calling the village offices at 491-358-2066.

The Bluffton Community Swimming Pool offers zero-depth entrance, a 12-foot deep diving well, eight 25-meter competition swim lanes, and a 35-foot tall waterslide. Vending machines are available on site for simple snack options. Visitors are welcome to bring non-alcoholic beverages and food in appropriate containers and are asked to help keep the area clean. All visitors are expected to follow the posted rules and are subject to removal for violating safety rules within the pool/park area. Weather permitting, pool hours are Monday - Friday 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Pool hours on Saturday and Sunday are 1 PM - 7 PM. On posted dates when the swim team hold home meets, the pool will close at 4 PM for the event.
Pool rates for 2016 are outlined below:
Daily Admission: $4.00/person Children 2 and under: FREE
Five different types of swimming pool season passes will be available for the 2016 season: Senior Single, Senior Couple, Single, and Family-Basic, and 10 visit pass for $30
Senior Rates: To qualify for these rates, a person(s) must be age 60 or over.
Single: Any individual under the age of 60.
Family- Basic: Consists of 2 adults and up to 3 children 18 years of age or under living at the same address. The only exception to this is that a babysitter/ caregiver can be substituted for one adult on the pass. In the event that there are additional children 18 years of age or under living at the same address, additional passes may be purchased at a cost of $5.00 each.
DailyBike and Pedestrian Pathway:
In 2009, the Village completed the planning for the Comprehensive Bike and Pedestrian Pathway Master Plan that incorporates the existing bike and pedestrian pathways throughout the Village and provides a plan for expanding these routes with three major components: Connecting Links, Encircling the Village and a Bike Tour.
The Bluffton Sportsman Club maintains two former working quarries, the Buckeye and the National, for recreational fishing, including the annual Trout Derby, held the first Sunday in May.
Town Hall Assembly Room:
The third floor of the Bluffton town hall is available for non-profit organization and private parties to use when available. There is a $20 refundable cash security deposit due when reserving the use of the building. You may contact the village offices for securing the date and confirming reservation.
