Mayor Augsburger presiding. Messrs: Johnson, Sehlhorst, Talavinia, and Warren present.  Messrs:  Burrell and Miller absent.

Mr. Sehlhorst moved, seconded by Mr. Johnson to approve the minutes of the regular council meeting held on March 13, 2017.  Roll Call: Yes (4) Messrs: Sehlhorst, Johnson, Talavinia, and Warren.  No (0), motion approved.

Mr. Talavinia moved, seconded by Mr. Sehlhorst to approve the bills as presented.  Total payroll of $41,869.24 and non-payroll of $42,469.46.  Roll Call:  Yes (4) Messrs: Talavinia, Sehlhorst, Johnson, and Warren.  No (0), motion approved.

Mr. Warren moved, seconded by Mr. Johnson to approve the first reading of Resolution No. 08-17:  A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXPENDITURE OF VILLAGE FUNDS TO BE PAID TO BLUFFTON COMMUNITY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB, INC. FOR USE IN PURCHASING TABLES AND OTHER ITEMS USED IN THE CLUB.  After discussion it was noted to add “stocking of the quarry” as a purpose of the expenditure.  Mr. Warren then withdrew his motion until the full Council is present.

Mr. Sehlhorst moved, seconded by Mr. Warren to accept the Planning Commission’s approval of the replat and easement for the Parkview Subdivision.  Roll Call:  Yes (4) Messrs:  Sehlhorst, Warren, Johnson, and Talavinia.  No (0), motion approved.

Mr. Sehlhorst moved, seconded by Mr. Johnson to approve declaring the 2010 Ford Crown Victoria as surplus equipment.  Roll Call:  Yes (4) Messrs:  Sehlhorst, Johnson, Talavinia, and Warren.  No (0), motion approved.

Mr. Johnson moved, seconded by Mr. Talavinia to approve declaring the fire department’s 16 foot inflatable Zodiac rescue boat as surplus equipment.  Roll Call:  Yes (4) Messrs:  Johnson, Talavinia, Sehlhorst, and Warren.  No (0), motion approved.

Mr. Sehlhorst moved, seconded by Mr. Johnson to authorize the fiscal officer to prepare legislation to transfer $20,000.  Roll Call: Yes (4) Messrs: Sehlhorst, Johnson, Talavinia, and Warren.  No (0), motion approved.
